Sultanate Oman Fashion

Oman characterized the diversity of heritage fashion, richness and beauty of its colors and shapes which is representing the nobility of society. Omani person maintains of yhis clothes and they proud of it.This is what the visitor noticed when they visiting the Sultanate.

 

ALdahera Fashion

The outfit consists in ALdahera region of Sheila (ALweqaia), (alkhandura) ,dress and trousers. ALsheila (ALweqaia) are usually black, ALkhandura come on types, there decorated Kndorh and (Mjush) Kndorh  by design and embroidery, as well as a garment that is worn over the khandura which is a light fabric.
it is consists of three basic pieces, as is the case with the rest of women's fashion in the various governorates and regions of the Sultanate as this outfit consists of:

1. The dress: it is called locally (khandura) It is  long robe uncannily like (abaya) it has embroidery in the area of ​​the chest in horizontal rectangular form, there is at one end of the rectangle to the north long slot stretch down to the midfield.

2. trousers: worn under (khandura) and garnished by (albadelh) " which is a filament of (Tally) in different forms and placed all lines with each other in the spare of form" .and (Albadlh) manufactured by women themselves.

 3. Quilt: called locally Sheila is a light canvas as (Aldantil).Women also wear a veil over her face as an essential part of the outfit, especially when they leave the house, is decorated with gold and silver thread known as (Isabah) and connecting on the forehead.

 

Muscat Fashion

Each  regions of the Sultanate has its own fashion. although they share in being inspired by the folklore of the region, and reflect the environment in which women live, and it appears in the embroidery of forms and anklets, auctioneer and daggers carried by different dresses.

how about Muscat fashion??

By virtue of demographics in Muscat and being the capital of the country so it is a forum for all regions, as multiple tastes thanks of communicate with other peoples and civilizations. So are numerous of traditional costumes in Muscat. So there are three main types differ from each other in terms of their design and graphics and embroidery yarns used in carvings, some of them are loose, and some of them close to the ALdakliah region women's costume.and some are sewn from a very thin silver strips in perfection.

AL-Batinah region and Musandam Fashion

Most similar of AL-Batinah areas and Musandam fashion with ALdahera fashion. Where Omani women wear in these areas (khandura) which is a long robe with many colors and emblazoned with different graphics. 
Sleeve embroidered with gold or silver thread of ALbirasm and Zari. AL-Batina north their dress similar to ALdahera region and Musandam,while the rest of the AL-Batinah thier dress similar to Muscate and ALdakilyah region.and part of it is like wearing of  ALsharqiah region it is called (ALthob ALdoari) which is wears in the top of the Dishdasha.
As for of (Shelah) it is always black and the stitching from the middle be in pink and green it is called (Almertqh). but the trousesr is like ALsharqiah region trousers.
 Omani women wears with this fashion collection of gold jewelery that can not Omani women to dispense with them, and these ornaments add to the outfit beauty and splendor, especially since they wear it in the neck and wrist which bracelets and decades of pure gold with beautiful formations , often Omani women wearing inholidays, anniversaries, weddings and celebrations which is the secret of the of Omani women beauty.
   

Dofar Fashion

The outfit known as (Abu tail),it is made of Velvet or cotton adorn its neck with beautiful decoration by using (ALbirasm) strings and Zari, it is also decorate by lobes of sliver and beads.
And placed on the head (Sheila) They are often of light cotton or silk decorated by Balvsos and beads in different forms.
ALdofari dress unique to the province of Dhofar from areas in the Sultanate of Oman,it is made of black velvety canvas or colored depending on the desire of the girl,but the black color is dominant in this dress.It is a piece of cloth long from the back and short from the front-to-textleg or slightly longer, and the wisdom in that it shows the beauty of the legs and this is an old habit.
But he is not permitted to showing the men except her incest or between the women. In most cases, the good dress hides the contours of the body in addition to this dress the trousers, it has inscriptions and manually questionable beads.
The wide dress has a royal tail from behind.The slot of the chest decorate in many forms (circular, square, certain) surrounded by motifs and forms of inscriptions and beautiful graphics mastered the Omani women. These inscriptions are usually on the slot of the chest and sleeves, and on the edge of the dress.But each Pattern varying  by desire of the girl. Depending on the novels that previously there was no tail in the dress it was in the same size (length) from the front and the back, and the story of its presence in the garment due to the girl's imports of her boyfriend, who is her cousin to know her during she walks, when the women know about this story they do as she did by wearing this dress with long behind tail.

Normal days, women wear dress made ​​of raw cotton to distinguish the cotton of coldly and women feel more comfortable during the touring in the house and doing their daily chores such as cooking, cleaning and child care.

but the decorated velveteen dress they waer it in wedding and other happy occasions. For the bride dress is distinctive with private paintings,rare and expensive.

 

 

 

ALsarqiah Fashion

Varied fashion in ALsharqiah region from (Sur) on the coast to (Ibra)in said, the most important fashion which is known as (ALqabah). It is a light cloth made of Albrism yarn (silk or nylon). And often have to be black or red or pink or blue and embroidered with carvings beautiful decorated.


In (Sur) for a dress three slots wide range of hands and down to the possibility of wearing it easily, and embroidered on the front and the back.

But in (Ibra) the women wear (ALkomah) in her head, which its color is black and it is usually made ​​of light fabric. Also she wears (Alakam), it is trinket made of silver or gold In the form of decorated plates  reached with wool threads. The other piece over the head is (Alliso).

AL-Dakiliah Fashion...

Fashion is the most interesting thing that women looks for. Actually, it is varies from on country to another, specially in Oman.

Oman has 8 Governorates, each one has its style in dresses or fashion. The Omani women from each Governorates wearing different clothes from others, and that is a wonderful thing. I know it is good thing if I explain about each governorates's fashion, I will start with (AL-Dakiliah Governorate fashion). It is consists of a short dress that little extends to the bottom of the knee, and the interface embroidered by ribbons, Seem, ALgooly and ALkosaa, it is Omani names. Addition to ALberasim, ALsjav and ribbons of gold and silver Zari. As sleeves embroidered in the same strips and threaded, which is usually made by Omani women. This is about the old style but now it is more modern and much beautiful. let photos told you more a bout it:

My photography trip

I had interesting photography trip in my city last weekend.I went to take photos with my nephew for my photography class.We started from Nizwa city and there we take a wonderful photos,let you see what I got from there

I like this place realy it is amazing.I take from there almost 26  photos.Then we went to beautiful place which is a park,let the photos told you about it

 After this place we went to AL-Hamra city .the most wonderful  place I visit it ,we spend most the time there and the most nice photos are from there

I take more than 160 photo in all my trip.It was interesting,funy and wonderful trip.I want to say thanks for my nephew because he helps me to get this places and I hope to get another trip again.
